By using state-of-the-art technology to access nationwide databases, JHL
serves the needs of Northern California commercial property buyers,

strong team effort on the part of the Owner, property manager, and leasing and

Company History
Founded in 1988 by
James B. Henry and Lynn S Hill, JHL is a full-service commercial
real estate company specializing in property management, leasing
and sales in Napa and Solano Counties.
Our office has recently returned to the Napa Valley on the I-80/Hw
29 corridor, putting us midway
between Sacramento and San Francisco, affording us access to all
of Northern California.
Over the past
fifteen years, JHL has become one of the largest commercial real
estate firms in the area representing over 1,000,000 square feet
of leased and managed properties.
Our focus enables us to be responsive to the needs of the
commercial property owner, tenant, investor or developer.
As a property
management company, JHL strives to manage properties efficiently
and effectively. We
believe a pro-active/preventive maintenance philosophy keeps our
properties running smoothly while minimizing expenses to owners.

We work with
property owners to ensure their tenants have a comfortable
and safe place to conduct business.
Our proactive approach to property management,
training and safety has enabled us to accomplish this goal.
It is
imperative to keep abreast of current issues in the property
management industry. Our
staff regularly attends seminars on issues essential to keep
an owner’s property in the best possible condition.
We attend trade shows sponsored by ICSC, BOMA and IREM.
Recently attended seminars include training in mold
compliance issues, computer training for HVAC Systems and
security and automatic door software administration
training.
We are also
members of several local, state and national professional
organizations including local Chamber of Commerce Chapters
in Napa and Solano Counties, TRAFC (The Travis Regional
Armed Forces Committee), The Solano EDC (Economic
Development Corporation) and
ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). JHL
employees are also members of Local Service clubs including
Kiwanis and Rotary.
Our Owner and
lead Property Manager, Lynn S Hill, received his
CPM® (Certified Property Manager®) Designation from IREM
(The Institute of Real Estate Management). Holders of the
CPM® Designation are trained to professionally handle the
full range of management tasks with skills that encompass
the asset management, administrative, legal, social,
economic and physical areas essential to property
performance.
Mr. Hill is
one of only a select few Certified Property Managers®
in
Northern California.
Safety is
also a prime concern to JHL.
All staff members have received Red Cross training
and are First Aid and CPR certified.
